With his tight leather pants and a sharp edge
that makes him dangerous, Jet Keller is every girl’s rock and roll fantasy. But
Ayden Cross is done walking on the wild side with bad boys.
She doesn’t want to give in to the heat she
sees in Jet’s dark, haunted eyes. She’s afraid of getting burned from the
sparks of their spontaneous combustion, even as his touch sets her on fire.
Jet can’t resist the Southern Belle with
mile-long legs in cowboy boots who defies his every expectation. Yet the closer
he feels to Ayden, the less he seems to know her. While he’s tempted to get
under her skin and undo her in every way, he knows firsthand what happens to
two people with very different ideas about relationships.
Will the blaze burn into an enduring love. . .
or will it consume their dreams and turn them to ashes?

Review
Wow! What a great book! Once I started this one, I
had to keep going until it was over. I only took a break so that I could sleep
and make sure I was focused appropriately!
If you liked Rule, you will not be disappointed in
Jet. I thought that I couldn’t love a couple more in that series than Rule
& Shaw, but that just isn’t true! Ayden & Jet kind of stormed their way
in to my life and wouldn’t get out!
The characters in this book are so flawed and it’s
great. I love seeing characters that are real people with real issues. The
issues that Ayden faces with her brother and her checked out mother are
heartbreaking. But that girl is tough as nails and it was interesting to see
her plow through her issues, but still checked in emotionally. There were times
I wanted to tell her that it was ok to break down, that she didn’t have to be
tough! And she did when she needed to… eventually. I loved her charisma and how
she didn’t take ‘no’ for an answer. Her dedication to her family was something
you don’t often see.
Jet. Oh my, Jet. He is sex on a stick. I have a
thing for singers in hardcore rock considering my husband used to be one. The
skin tight pants, oh hell yea. Please and thank you. But beyond this wet dream
of a rocker, Jet has got a side to him I didn’t know existed. He is fiercely
loyal, emotional, and so tender. I really enjoyed seeing how he worked to get
Ayden’s attention and then how hard he worked to KEEP her attention. Love him!
This was a great read! The writing flowed and easily
captured my attention. Were some parts dramatic and not really believable?
Sure. But what good would a story be if there wasn’t a level of dramatic flare
to it? It’d be boring. And this story was far from boring! I can’t wait to read
the next in the series!

About the
Author
Jay Crownover is the
bestselling author of Rule. Like the characters in her Marked Men series, she
is a big fan of tattoos. She loves music and wishes she could be a rock star,
but since she has no aptitude for singing or instrument playing, she'll settle
for writing stories with interesting characters and that make the reader feel
something. She lives in Colorado with her three dogs.
