Review

Trying Not To Love You is a book about growing up, meeting your first love and tons of family drama!  And not particularly in that order either.  Kenzie is the youngest daughter in a family of all boys.  These boys do whatever they have to when it comes to protecting their baby sister and to the extreme! 

I really enjoyed reading about their family dynamics and all the different love interests but I got a little annoyed at how harsh Mason was!  No brother really acts that way?  Do they?  (no brother here to base this on, lol) 

For a lot of the story Kenzie was playing the part of naive college freshman.  I felt bad for her and hoped that her BFF Hailey would spell things out for her when it came to her asshat (their words) boyfriend Dominic. 

Hunter, the twin brother's best buddy and Kenzie's dream guy is hot and super sweet.  I love how he treated Kenzie from the begining.  He is a good mix of tough and sweet, more on the sweet side. 

This book will take you on a roller coaster of emotions and make you want to bitch slap Kenzie a couple of times, BUT it's definitely worth the read.  I have to tell you that the ending was shocking and left me saying WTF?!?!  I also wish that this book was longer.  There were parts that felt rushed and I would have loved a deeper look into them.  I am anxiously awaiting book 2 now!
