He

Review
I was going to split my review in to 2
and focus on each book independently, but I decided they were better to do as
one. I read one right after the other, so it was one continuous story for me.
In the Duncan Peters Files, we meet all
the characters, though Rizzo isn’t the focus in this one. This story was a
journey through their friendship over the years. I really enjoyed seeing where
they started and where they ended up. They carried each other through so much
and it was really intriguing. Then there is the whole ‘issue’ of them being
military and that is just hot. How one could not love some military men is
beyond me. There’s just something about their commanding ways. Whew. There was
action, there was heartache, there was humor, and there was hot sex that had me
fanning myself. I finished this one and was super eager to get to Rizzo’s book!
So Rizzo. We meet her in The Duncan
Peters Files as a computer hacker. But as life happens and Duncan has some
things he wants to focus on, he asks Rizzo to take over for him. What’s a
skater girl computer hacker to do when she suddenly enters the corporate world?
Then enter old flames and new ones and her entire “no strings attached”
lifestyle is thrown in to a tailspin. Rizzo really showed up in this story and
watching her change as she navigated this new life was very intriguing. Again…
hot men, military & security, and a badass girl… yep.
The writing style of these 2 stories
really kept my attention! I cannot wait to read more from Samantha Fontein!

I began writing professionally in January 2013 and now I’m
releasing my fourth book. I write fun,
naughty, not so hearts and flowers stories. My all time favorite writing hero
is Clive Cussler. I love action and suspense, which probably influences my own
writing greatly; hence I’m NOT a hearts and flowers kind of girl.
I love humour and try to use it as often as I can in any
situation… I think life is too short to
NOT try anything new. I’m a fun, loyal person and believe in Karma, so I try to
treat people how I would like to be treated… after all, it takes much more to
be nasty to someone rather than just to be nice…
