see me as happy, full of life, with absolutely no cares in the world. They see
what I want them to see. But no one knows me – really knows me. Not even Noah

single imperfect thing I do. But, if Noah wants to keep an eye on me, that’s

Review
Wow. Just wow. I absolutely adored “Running on Empty” and “Recovery”
by L.B. Simmons and I loved the teasers for this one, so I wasn’t really
worried that I WOULDN’T enjoy this. I just wasn’t prepared for how much I’d
just absolutely freaking LOVE it. You start off with knowing that Tatum is not
just broken, but completely shattered. You know that Noah is amazing, but what
you don’t realize initially is that he is just as shattered as she is. You’ve
got 2 characters that are so shattered that you aren’t sure they can be
repaired, much less repair each other.
The writing is flawless, as usual. From the very first sentence,
you are sucked in to this story. You want to jump in there and take care of
Tatum and make out with Noah. Whatever, I’d totally do a lot of naughty things
with Noah. He’s just amazing. Tatum, gosh, I want to hold her and repair the
damage that was done. L.B. Simmons did an amazing job with creating this girl
and really letting not only her brokenness shine, but also her strength. You
know right away that she has it in her, but that she really has a ways to go
before she realizes it.
I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about this story or
this series as a whole. Each character in this series as a whole is so unique
and has their own set of strengths as well as their own flaws. We get a glimpse
in to Harlow & Trace a little bit more and I really just can’t wait for
their story! And here I am, more than a week after finishing the story, finding
myself still reeling from it and contemplating how soon is too soon to read it
again!
