Review

Like most New Adult stories, I love how they take me back to that point in time. This one was based in a college setting, so it’s really enjoyable to remember what it was like. That includes thinking about how naïve I was!

Hadley. Bless her heart. I really did like this girl. She was stubborn and strong willed. She knew what she wanted and she knew how she was going to get it. But I really felt like she was pretty naïve. She got upset with her parents, but being a parent, I understand where they are coming from. I had a hard time getting bothered by them. At the same time, I understood her frustration. I understood why she didn’t feel supported and why she had the feelings she did about it. As a college student, you think you knew everything about the world.

Then there was Jack. Oh Jack. What a sweet guy. He was everything you could dream of in a guy… and more. He was persistent, but sweet. He was determined, but not overbearing. He put up with a lot to get what he wanted.

I enjoyed that this story had a lot of various issues in it. The author handled them well and was able to reach a lot of people. It was well written and I look forward to reading more from her!
