Review
I’ve
followed Ashley Wilcox as an author for a while. I know that everytime I read
one of her stories I’m going to enjoy it. I know that I will experience the
story and a whole wide range of emotions. So, I didn’t hesitate to sign up for
this one. I knew I’d be reading this story the minute it came out!
Merrick
Drake isn’t a new character and we were introduced to him in the previous book.
I knew I’d love him and I was not disappointed. It takes a lot of talent to be
able to write a good story from the guy’s POV and Ms Wilcox did a great job on
it! I really enjoyed seeing him go from the low point he was at to where the
story concluded. It was interesting to see each of the characters grow with
each other as well as individually. This story pulled out many emotions along
the way. Once I started it, I couldn’t put it down! The writing flowed
effortlessly which meant the reading was super smooth.
I
cannot wait to read more from this group of characters! Each story gives us a peek
at some of the previous characters, so it’ll be interesting to see what more we
learn about Amelia and Merrick! Each story by Ms Wilcox has been better than
the last, so I can’t wait for more!
