Review
One of my all-time favorite shows is Big
Brother. One of the taglines for the show and what has made it so popular is to
“expect the unexpected” and realizing that things are not necessarily always
how they seem, even if they are, things can change in an instant. And this
book? Yea, definitely expect the unexpected. While the title is perfect for the
story, it really doesn’t prepare you for the journey you’re about to take while
reading it. You get to know Lucy as a person and understand how she discovered
herself… in more ways than one. While we get to know Brent a little bit, this
story truly focused on Lucy coming in to her own. Don’t get me wrong. This one
is HOT and you’ll NEVER look at cupcakes the same way again. Ever.
So when you start this story, know that
it is going to take you on a wild ride. You are going to fall in love with Lucy
and find yourself cheering her on quite a bit! Just remember to expect the
unexpected with this one.
