Blog Tour: Review, Teaser, & Giveaway: The One Left Behind by Lena Nicole

Colin and Addison are on their way home when they are caught in a vicious car accident. While Colin walks away with minimal injuries, Addison suffers from a traumatic brain injury causing her to lose her short-term memory. She can’t remember the night of the accident. She doesn’t remember being engaged. She doesn’t remember Colin at all.

While Addison rebuilds her life, Colin struggles with the fact that the love of his life doesn’t remember him.

When Addison meets Pierce, the one person who doesn’t have an ulterior motive, the one person she can talk to openly, Colin thinks his life may be over.

Will Addison’s memory return in time for her to save her relationship with Colin? Or is it gone forever, leaving her free to love Pierce?

Ahhhh! Where do I even start with this one?? Late last summer I got an email from these lovely ladies about reviewing the book. And I meant to respond and then life happened and I forgot. And then I saw that it was live. And that people were reading it and liking it. But I kept putting it off. Until another author told me to drop what I was reading and start this one because it was THAT GOOD. So I did. I stopped mid-book and started this one. And I couldn’t stop. I read and read and read. I think my Kindle may have been semi-glued to my hand.
Right away, the authors did a phenomenal job at pulling you in to the story. I felt like they immediately engaged my emotions and held on to them. Then they threw them threw the blender a few times. At the end, well, they are holding me hostage. But soon, very soon, we’ll get more of Addison, Pierce, & Colin.
The story flowed effortlessly! For a debut novel, these girls hit it out of the park. I have heard others really got frustrated with Addison and felt like she didn’t really even try. I didn’t feel that way at all. I felt that Addison took the hand she was dealt and just went with it. I cannot wait to see where she ends up in the next story!

Great job, Lena Nicole! Keep it coming!
