Laney Walker is a quick witted, athletic, southern tomboy who
lets few get too close, using her sarcastic zingers to deflect. She also has no

children. But college puts a gap between Laney and Evan that neither of them
were prepared for- old relationships are tested, new ones are formed and

Review
Let
me say, I really enjoyed this one! At first I was wondering how different it
could be from all of the other NA/Love Triangle stories out there, but it
definitely proved to be unique!
I
really enjoyed the fact that none of the romance throughout the story was easy.
It wasn’t an insta-love type of story, but there were definite immediate
connections.
Each
of the characters held qualities that were unique and made them stand out from
other stories. Dane was hot, bad boy, but not quite off limits. He was in his
own way, but never to Laney. Evan was sweet, amazing, and perfect. He was
protective as a friend and as more than that. Laney was sweet, crazy naïve (but
not in a ‘roll your eyes’ kind of way), and beautiful. At times I wondered how
she could be so naïve, but if she chose to keep herself out of drama, it made
sense.
There
were so many twists throughout the story – with her best friend, with Dane,
with her mother, and so on that it kept my interest! The writing flowed effortlessly
and kept my attention focus. As soon as I finished reading, I was ready for the
next one! I’ll definitely be picking that one up as soon as it is ready!
Oh
and another great thing? There’s no cliffhanger!
