REVIEW: Picturing Perfect by Melissa Brown

This was a very sweet and endearing story. Right away you connect with the characters and understand where Hadley is struggling. Do you stay with what is comfortable because it is what you know and you’ve already had so much upset in your life? Especially when you know that what is going on with family members is so much of a strain. It is just *easier* to stay with what you know rather than moving on to the unknown.

Then there is Jason. And he is perfect. And he is sweet. And he is motivated (even when it doesn’t look like it at first). And he is great. So why WOULDN’T you want to jump in to something with him? Though, despite his perfection, one wrong move with him could impact every other stable relationship Hadley had.

I understood WHY Hadley was apprehensive about a relationship with him. I got it. I didn’t really agree with her, but I understood her. I also wanted to punch Tucker in his face… as well as his mother. What crappy people for her to have to be potentially connected to for a very long time. As the story progresses, you want to shake Hadley and make her open her eyes, kill Tucker, and fall in love with Jason!

If you are looking for a story that is truly unique and not your typical romance, this is it! You will absolutely love it! The style of writing is very smooth and very captivating! Fabulous job, Melissa Brown! I can’t wait to read more from you!
