I’m
not even going to lie. What initially drew me to this book was the cover. I’d
just gotten through a string of YA romance that were super sweet and I was
looking for something hot. Then I saw this cover and knew I needed to get in to
this.
I’m
such a fan of stories with a dark history and this one did not disappoint me! Not
only does it have a dark past, but it is a bad boy transformed type of story.
And Patti has got quite the story of her own, as well.
From
the first page, I was drawn in. J.C. Valentine did a fabulous job and I really
enjoyed her style of writing. It was intriguing and captivating. She was able
to capture moments between the characters that really helped to show who they
were. I loved how original this story was. While it combined many aspects of
stories that I tend to enjoy, Ms Valentine was able to make this story original
and unique!

cannot wait to read others from this fine author!
